This course has been designed to provide fundamental knowledge and understanding of fire detection and fire alarm systems, and/or enable delegates to progress to our design, installation, commissioning or maintenance modules.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND 

This course is aimed at electricians and electrical contracting businesses as well as those who design or specify fire alarm and detection systems looking to gain a fundamental understanding of the recommendations of BS 5839-1:2017. There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however those attending should be familiar with electrical systems.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This course will provide a general understanding and knowledge of how to ensure fire detection and fire alarm systems comply with BS 5839-1:2017. Delegates will also gain a fundamental understanding of design, installation, servicing, and commissioning activities and will also be shown relevant certificates.
