Acceptable qualifications update – with immediate affect (9 March 2026)

The EAS Management Committee has advised that two further qualifications have been added to the list of acceptable qualifications under the updated EAS.

· City & Guilds 2919 01 – Level 3 Award in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation (qualification number 600/7756/6).

· City & Guilds 2919 02 – Level 3 Award in Domestic Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation (qualification number QAN: 600/7374/3).

How is this course assessed?

This EAL qualification assessment includes an online multiple-choice test (open book and invigilated).

What do you need to have with you?

A copy of BS 7671 (latest edition).
IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation (latest edition).
A scientific calculator.
