This course has been designed to provide the knowledge and understanding needed to be able to assist in the completion of the compliant maintenance and servicing of fire detection and fire alarm systems in accordance with the recommendations of BS 5839-1:2017.

 
To book on this course you must have completed the module Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems - Unit 1 Fundamentals

WHO SHOULD ATTEND 

This course is aimed at electricians and electrical contracting businesses as well as those who design or specify fire alarm and detection systems including those who have already completed our Fundamentals of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems course and who already work within the electrical/fire industry and have a fundamental understanding of the requirements of fire detection and fire alarms in the UK.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This course will provide a general understanding and knowledge of how to ensure fire detection and fire alarm systems comply with BS 5839-1:2017. Delegates will also gain a fundamental understanding of design, installation, servicing, and commissioning activities and will also be shown relevant certificates.
