Having previously completed the Fire Alarm Fundamentals module, delegates will use the knowledge and understanding gained to carry out compliant maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems to BS 5839-1:2017 requirements.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Delegates should be familiar with electrical systems. Suitable candidates should already work within the electrical/fire industry and have a basic understanding of the requirements of fire detection and fire alarms in the UK .
Candidates must have first completed the Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems - Unit 1 Fundamentals
Building on the knowledge gained from Unit 1, delegates will leave with a greater understanding of how to maintain fire detection and fire alarm systems to BS 5839-1:2017 and complete the maintenance certificate plus the requirments for take over of new systems.
