These certificates are based on the model forms given in Annex D of BS 5839-6: 2019+A1:2020 and are to be used for the installation of a Grade A system as described in BS 5839-6 within dwellings, supported housing, and the communal areas of HMOs and sheltered housing where the use of a Grade A system is recommended in Table 1 of that standard.

These Fire Detection and Fire Alarm System Commissioning Certificates For Grade ‘A’ Systems are intended for use when commissioning fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with the recommendations of BS 5839: Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings - Part 1: Code of practice for design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of systems in non-domestic premises (as amended by BS 5839-6, where relevant)
