• Product Description

Every year, people working on construction sites and on refurbishment and maintenance activities suffer electric shock and burn injuries some of which, tragically, are fatal.

Electrical contractors should be aware that many of these accidents are a direct consequence of electricians not implementing safe isolation procedures on low voltage installations (that is, those operating at up to 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c.).

Understanding and implementing safe isolation procedures will reduce risk when carrying out electrical repairs or installation work and this course will provide you with the necessary skills to help achieve this.

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND

There are no formal entry requirements to attend this workshop, however, it is designed for people working on, or near electrical equipment and systems, it can also refresh practicing electrician’s knowledge and understanding of the procedure.
