This 1 day course has been completely revised to align with the requirements of BS 7671:2018  Requirements for Electrical Installations - IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition BS 7671: 2018+A2:2022.

It is aimed at those who are required to have a good working knowledge of the latest version of this core industry standard, by updating and building on previous qualification of this topic.

Due to the limited nature of the content covered by this course, entry is only available to those who have successfully completed a qualification relating to BS 7671:2008 (17th Edition). Our booking process may require confirmation of successful achievement of such qualification.

The attended classroom course is particularly appropriate for those who design, install, commission or maintain low-voltage electrical installations and who wish to update their qualification to the latest version offered by City & Guilds. Choosing our attended training option allows for learning with other likeminded individuals.

This course will provide an overview of the main changes introduced since BS 7671:2008 amendment 3:2015 and includes the latest amendments to BS 7671:2018, including the updated requirements relating to Amendment 1:2020 and Amendment 2:2022.

The course is designed to assist in better navigation of BS 7671 and to help prepare delegates for success with the City & Guilds 2382 examination. This examination is the same as for those attending a full training course, therefore a thorough understanding of BS 7671 is required.

This course includes 1 attempt at the City & Guilds 2 hour examination. Please ensure you have photographic ID and a copy of BS 7671:2018 including Amendment 2:2022 available to you.  Failure to do so will prevent you from sitting this exam
