This course has been completely revised to align with the requirements of BS 7671:2018‘ Requirements for Electrical Installations - IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition’ including the changes brought about by the release of Amendment 2:2022. It is aimed at those who are required to have a good working knowledge of the latest version of this core industry standard.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is particularly appropriate for those who design, install, commission or maintain low-voltage electrical installations. Whilst the course is primarily aimed at experienced electricians, it will also be of benefit to allied trades as well as trade related professionals including contract managers, installation designers, consultants, specifiers and surveyors.

Although there are no formal entry requirements it is expected that candidates have  experience of electrical installation work and a good understanding of electrical science and principles.

This course will provide candidates with a wide range of knowledge relating to BS 7671:2018, including the updated requirements introduced by Amendment 2:2022. Key areas covered include:
