This Learning Guide has been produced by the NICEIC to assist learners working towards a qualification that demonstrates awareness of the requirements and content of the UK national standards for the safety of electrical installations – BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 Requirements for the Electrical Installations. The Learning Guide is aimed at those already working in the electrical contracting industry or those in associated role where a sound knowledge of the requirements of BS 7671 is required.

The Learning Guide is a comprehensive full colour document covering Amendment 2 of BS 7671 and includes numerous photos, diagrams and tables to aid understanding.  Written in a way that is easily understandable to a wide range of reader the guides includes end exercises in every section.  Many of the exercises refer to BS 7671 to aid understanding and promote use of this document.
